For the past 11 years of my school life, I have always always looked forward to the end of school and the holidays.
maybe not so much in primary 6 but frankly today I feel worse than how I felt when leaving primary school.
I really don't know why.
Maybe its just the classroom that gives me so much of comfort when I walk in
or the people. Whatever the reason, its a lovely end to the best academic year in my whole life
Most of us in 2m have been together for almost 2 years and really, thats a long long time. and the people who came from other classes like charlotte, jolene, joy, nicole teh and serqi have all made 2m complete. even though I dont know what class I'll be in next year or who'll be in my class, im quite convinced it wont ever be as good as 2m.
Starting from family night (:
it was a long time ago but I still remember practicing as a class till late in the evening one day before the actual performance.
and family night itself was such a joy, be it ushering, dressing up, practicing more or of course, winning
then there was class party in april. the amazing race, the lunch cum dinner at pizza hut, eating roti prata with sugar in the carpark, playing the little games and just being together as (almost) a whole class. everything was just too good. I remember how nice the dinner was at pizza hut for several reasons and the roti prata thing was just really really funny even though its just a small group of us who knows what actually happened. maybe we were just sugar high. haha
in may there was adventure camp even though it wasnt a very class thing. but hey, I really enjoyed myself a lot though I once almost slipped off the cliff and i could have died okay! eva saved my life which shows that 2m people care for each other :] if she hadnt stopped me from falling, I wouldnt be here today. fine, that was a teeny weeny insy winsy bit exaggerated but still!
august and september were mostly very exam-based months but we pulled together as a class. we're called nerd class for a reason right? :D
and of course, the exams! marks are secondary; whats most important is if we put in our best and we all definately did. 2m is such an all rounder class, yes? haha. the whole post exam period was so fun as well. playing uno, speed, listening to boring and pointless talks, minifair and well, becoming much much closer as a class. I mean, people like serqi, before the post-exam period, we hardly even EVER talked but during the minifair and stuff, we suddenly had some common topic. post exam period works miracles!
More than any of these things, what is 2m without the people?
Lim rui, geetika, charlotte, tong li and alethea.
all of you have been great great friends and sitting beside you all has been really wonderful.
lim rui, you torture me every day of your life but without you, I wouldnt have been able to enjoy lessons even half as much as I actually did. it was so funny to make fun of teachers and imitate them and I feel really blessed to have sat beside you for 1 and a half years. at the end of the day, even though we dont always get along, you're one of my best friends in the whole world. I'll do anything to sit beside you again next year because you just make me happy (:
geetika, you have just been there for me all the time and thats more than enough. Even when I was so dejected last friday because of my results, you gave me hope that this exam isnt the end. from last year until today, without you, my life wouldnt be complete. I still remember how on the first day of school, i had no chair and you shared yours with me and Im really very grateful that you helped me make my dosa for home ec exam. I would have failed if you hadnt rescued me! so yes, of course i want to be in the same class as you next year and about tomorrow, I think i can come! :D

tong li tong li, ahahaha! trust me, you're the person I fight with the most in the whole world. we just never ever ever get along, do we? but hey, even if we fight, you're surely the person who has also made me laugh the most. your greentea, your cheeks, your disturbed look..everything just amazes me. will you be my prince for halloween? (:
and charlotte! I've known you for the shortest period of time as compared to the other 3 but you're a really nice person. hahaha its really sweet how you try and make me feel good about myself. and the cake today..thank you so so much! Its so nice to think that you went out of the way to bake just for the both of us. you're the best dancer and baker ever charlotte, honestly.
people like jia have also added a lot of colour to my life. my best blackmore friend! hahaha

thank you VERY VERY much for such a lovely academic year. even if we're not in the same class, at least we're all still in the same school and for people like amelia and serqi who're leaving mgs, at least we're in the same country right? I'm going to miss the 2m classroom so so much! as mrs chong said on the first day of school, jurassic park. its where I spent the best days of my life.
I have nothing to do during the holidays, at least until december. oh we got the 2m class tshirt today and even my mother thinks its pretty. haha and once again, thanks a lot charlotte for the birthday cake and lim rui, thank you very much for the very sweet letter and snowglobe thing. its beautiful you know? :]
