As usual, we were ostracised yet again.
as elena said, mgs isnt a very "vegetarian-friendly" place. literally
well not that mgs can be blamed. there are only 4 of us in the whole sec 2 cohort who are vegetarians.
me, sonal, juhi and elena but then again sonal and juhi dont count because they choose when they want to be vegetarian.
when the non-veg food is nice, they immediately switch. tsk tsk
so its just me and elena and truly, I admire her.
the people with allergies and us, vegetarians were first of all assigned to a special table.
if thats not enough, they gave us labels. what the hell right?
haha the labels were really cute though-like this one:
i swear im not making fun of her allergy. its just funny how they treat us like a bunch of weirdos or lepers.
anyway, the food we got at marriot was hellish at least for us vegetarians. we had to ask for bread thrice; perhaps because they assumed bread is non-vegetarian and the main course was just disgusting. people have a very wrong idea of what vegetarianism is.
whats the point of giving us mock chicken? its not as though we're yearning for chicken so much that we need to turn to
mock chicken. sorry but i wasted 3/4 my food and ended up eating potatoes which the person beside me kindly donated. the soup was the only thing, normal.
since everything else was terrible, we were waiting so eagerly for the strawberry cheescake when suddenly someone appeared with a plate of
fruits for us. once again-what the hell right? hellooooo why is strawberry cheescake considered non-vegetarian! its not fair that they give us nothing but fruits when we deserve the strawberry cheescake just as much as everyone does.
So in silent protest, I refused to touch any of the fruits and all of us demanded our cheesecake. in the end, they told us they'll make 3 more just for us but we'll have to share. the girl beside me didnt want cheesecake anymore so she gave me the whole thing but still, I shared with this, another girl with nut allergy :D haha so we got fruits AND the cheesecake-elena took all my fruits though.
bytheway, me and elena rock because we save the animals. albeit we dont get fair treatment, we're cooler than people who just love animals and still eat them. goodness, practice what you preach man.

anyway after marriot, we roamed around orchard. the halloween masks and hats are all so cute. oh patrick is sitting on my lap now :D hahaha and Im using the banana plush as a bolster together with my baby tigger.
well, i need to eat dinner now. finally some proper vegetarian food
