its horrible to be back home. i want to go back. club med rocked; really really rocked.
and yes, i promised a long post right? i dont know about long but i will post on club med.
here goes.
As i mentioned in my previous post, i left on the 7th. really early in the morning to Newton car park where we were to board our bus. the bus was okay but the journey was so boring. 7 hours long and i was dying to reach club med.
there, the bus. i was bored so i was playing with my camera. finally finally FINALLY we reached. The first thing i saw were the beaches. white sands, palm trees, very very calm sea, crystal clear water. it was just so pretty!
see, pretty huh? i think it looks like one of those desktop backgrounds (: anyway, after that we went straight for lunch. food was so awesome! especially the deserts after every meal.
we checked into our rooms after lunch. the rooms are supposedly traditional Balinese style so the rooms are basically like cottages. of course, its really really pretty inside. and oh yeah, there are lot of monkeys. haha! then we did activities! all 5 days we had a lot of things to do.
we did..
ARCHERY! i look pro, dont i? haha! i only look pro; i wasnt pro at all. but it was SO fun! and we also did...
KAYAKING! it was really really cool although very tiring. i had so much of fun :D and of course, what is a beach holiday without swimming in the beach right?
i swam in the beach for 2 days. the first day i swam, it was really cool. the water was so warm and the tides were just right but on the 2nd day i swam, the tides were extremely high and so my extremely paranoid mother didnt let me swim too far from the shore -.- oh oh oh in the beach, we saw a JELLYFISH! yes, a real jellyfish. just that it was dead. i mean, duh, it was dead.
but i touched it. using my foot of course and i was wearing slippers.
it was so yucky! so slimy and jelly-ish.
i also engraved my name on the sand. haha! i think its really cool (: but the best part of it all..
BUNGY BOUNCE! i did it twice and trust me, its really very good! i look so happy up there right? haha! i went higher than that actually. anyway, apart from all these activities (there was more, just that i dont have the pictures), every night there was a show and a theme for the whole night. on the second day, the theme was indian! cool right? so anyway, there was indian food on that day, all the staff were dressed in indian clothes and of course, there was an indian show.
which was really nice and funny! it was so entertaining to see white people dancing to hindi songs. i took videos of the dances but i cant post that here but anyway..
thats the finale photo. on the 3rd night, there was a circus show. Omg, so nice! this trapeze person from korea came all the way to perform and she was so good at it. no photos there though. it was too dark.
And on the fifth day, we left. I felt superly duperly sad. I passionately fell in love with club med. I want to go back there one day. It was even better than europe and america. it was the best holiday ever. and now here i am back in singapore. i really have to do my homework and all. oh darn. im still wearing my club med wristband. i've been wearing it since the 7th and not once have i removed it from my hand. i want to keep it that way. for some reason, i feel as though that wrist band is my only bond with club med and if i take it out, the bond will be broken.
