MID YEARS ARE OVER! OVER OVER OVER
OVER!and class party was so awesome. happy birthday wenxi :D
i think i screwed life science for some stupid reason but i think i did well for chem but thats what i always think-my marks are never good even then.
but the point is, its all over. i dont have to even look at those horrible chem worksheets with my ugly drawings of electronic configurations and that thick thick life science file with all its worksheets dropping out already. i loved every bit of handing up my chem paper. it marked the end of our science modules and the start of class party! :)
after we were officially dismissed, me and xiang went down to the home ec room to collect the roti prata and spaghetti sauce from the fridge. then we carried it to her house. haha we looked so retarded carrying 2 packets of roti prata in school. on our way to maplewoods, we saw geri and jolene!
then um..we reached her house. xiang's bunny is adorable.
yeah there she is. then we waited for others to come. oh and xiang has a super cool coin machine game thing. haha! its something like you insert a coin inside and you move that thing to catch a ball. oh and gerou wore her spongebob shirt. i also waaaaant! ):
at around 1.40 or something after everyone who was supposed to come, came, the amazing race started. me and geetika were marshalling at adam hawker centre. marshalling as in giving out clues for the next pitstop if the group completed a specific task. BUT we had not a clue on how to reach adam hawker centre! ariel told us to get down after coronation plaza and thats what we did but after that we didnt know where to go. and to make things worse, the rain was so heavy and all we had for shelter was a broken umbrella that wouldnt open -.-
then suddenly we saw xiang's group in front of us. haha we were supposed to reach first cause we were
MARSHALLS. so we ran behind their group and in the end, we reached adam hawker centre at the same time as them. poof! then we had to think of a task for them so i um..saw this signboard wth banana prata on it so their task was to find which stall sold banana prata! smart eh? xD they found it really quickly and left. after that, we had nothing to do because the next group that was supposed to come (amelia's group) took a superrr long time to come. imagine having to sit at that boring place for a long long time doing nothing! but it wasnt that bad actually. see?
then joy's group came! finally. and soon after, amelia's group came as well :D our job was done so we wanted to go to xiang's house to change but the rain was soooo heavy. we wanted to take a taxi but there were no taxis so in the end, we walked a lot to find the bus stop and took a bus to maplewoods.
after changing, we took a taxi to bukit timah plaza. haha! maplewoods to bukit timah plaza. we went to pizza hut for lunch and almost all of them were already them. then um..we ordered. it was lots of fun eating. lim rui said i eat like a cow and i couldnt even eat because i was laughing. and tong li wiped her mouth using a knife and tissue. hahaha! tong li, you're really so adorable. haha after eating, me lim rui and nicole went to popular to buy candy :) i got myself a pink lollipop but lim rui paid cause i left my wallet at pizza hut. later she didnt accept my 35 cents. heh heh. i dont care, i'll pay you on monday. we finished eating LUNCH at 5 something and then lim rui's mother gave us a lift to maplewoods. haha thank you. belle was wearing this super cool coloured contacts! i love your eye so much<3
actually it looks freaky in that photo. ahh scary! we ate jelly hearts which was supposedly eva's birthday present. then um we helped carry those heating pits or whatever its called down to the barbecue pits and started the fire. our fire took ages to start but in the end it did and it looked gorgeous.
when it was hot enough and the sky was dark enough, we started cooking the spaghetti and roasting marshmellows. after a while we played 'i never' and 'truth or dare'. me, geetika, merrilyn, cheryl and eva went to xiang's house to help cook roti prata but it was already almost done so we helped carry it down. that was probably the best part of the party. there were around 10 pratas initially but on our way down we decided to eat a teeny weeny bit but it was like some addiction and at the carpark everyone was like so desperate for the prata and we looked like twits eating prata at the carpark. in the end, by the time we reached the barbecue pit, there was only one pathetic prata left. and for the first time in my life, i ate roti prata with sugar. it was actually reallyyyy nice.
hahaha!
wenxi's mother had baked these heart shaped chocolate cakes. those cakes were THE best cakes i ever ate. as in seriously-it was wayy better than those cakes from bakeries.
