i miss yesterday. yesterday was really really fun.
i was super duper desperate to get early dismissal to go watch the indian dance syf and at the very very very last minute thurai told me mrs chong didnt allow me ):
but when i asked mrs chong she told me it was only because she had no say in the whole thing and only the VP could grant me permission and dear dear thurai couldnt find mrs goh.
so in the end, i didnt get any early dismissal so the initial plan was that all the dancers leave at 1.30 and after sch ends me and sharanya go to ucc on our own but after school when we were at the concourse, we saw thurai, meaning they hadnt left yet :D thurai lost her handbag so they had to leave later than the planned time.
i helped thurai find her handbag! yay :)
then we took the bus there.
oh oh when i first saw the dancers i was very very amused by their makeup but ah well, after seeing the other schools i concluded that their make up was wayyyy simpler and nicer. anyway we reached ucc really fast.
me and sharanya were feeling really extra ): oh and i saw razeenah and habibah! i miss you all so much. and i also saw aksh but she said hello to me so non-enthu-ly which broke my heart! ):
anyway, all of a sudden thurai realised all the lamps were still in the bus so naturally she was superly um..tensed but in the end she found it and the dancers left. me and sharanya didnt know where to go so we were looking for some parent to tag onto but in the end the smart smart us managed to find out where the audience should go. the minute we stepped in the whole place became fully dark and this weird unknown school started dancing. their dance was boooring. haha no offence x) then there was this announcement.
"serial number (_) Methodist Girls' School".
oh my god that was so so so so so so scary.
for some reason the both of us were really scared though we werent dancing. i just really wanted them to do well because they put in so much of effort.
and for all that effort they put in, they did an excellent job. but all of a sudden at the back of the hugeeee stage a purple figure appeared. that figure went inside the curtain and came out again and went inside the curtain again and came out again. that figure who semi-spoilt the dance was our dearest thurai.
wth. hahaha but it was SO funny and i really couldnt stop laughing and i actually managed to laugh softly because i didnt want to interrupt the astounding silence :D well yeah so anyway they really did do a great job nevertheless. after their dance, it was commonwealth's dance which was really really really good as well.
then after their dance, the both of us left the place and went outside in search of the dancers but they were nowhere to be found. first we thought they left without us but that was stupid so we aimlessly walked around and followed the commonwealth dancers. haha they must have thought we were stalking them or something because for some reason we were there everywhere they were.
the commonwealth girls entered the audience enterance so we did the same and we found the mgs dancers there as well but we couldnt sit with them cause there was no space and we got lousy seats this time round. ah well we had a excellent view of the judges though. haha
we watched so so so so so many more dances and i got a head ache from listening to all that loud music and i was reallyyy bored. at i think..4 something we left the place. while we were waiting for the bus sharanya made friends with a..nevermind.
anyway, we boarded the bus again and i loved the bus ride.
it was so funny. actually it wasnt and thats what made it so funny.
hahaha. upon reaching mgs, we waited for the dancers to wash off their make up. then sharanya left and thurai made me carry this super duper heavy bag to the staffroom. i saw mayee then!
i begged her for a lift to the bus stop because i was dead tired. haha! in the end i saw lav and decided to walk with her to the bus stop instead. thank you anyways mayee for um..agreeing to give me a lift. i was reallyyy hungry upon reaching home because i survived the day with just hello panda and peach tea. and i was really tired too so i didnt go for chinese ): i loved yesterday and i love shakti, sharanya, lavanya! <3
ON A TOTALLY TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOTE,
i found out who my angel is and my mortal found out who im her angel :(
tong li's my angel which is so cool because she sits right behind me and well, she told me she was my angel. haha tong li you're so adorable and silly! and i dont know how my mortal found out but she did. the game is no fun anymore. my angel wrote me a letter stating that she didnt want to write me letters anymore because she thought it was "lame". (quoted from the letter which i tore into a lot of pieces. hahaha)
