WELCOME
When our time is up,
When our lives are done,
Will we say we've had our fun?
Will we make a mark,
This time.
Will we always say we tried.
Standing on the rooftops,
Everybody scream your heart out.

family night was so so so fun and i'll never in my whole life be able to forget yesterday.
we bonded so well as a class and all those hugs and everything..i'll just never ever ever forget them.
yesterday was just perfect.
first, in the morning i brought 2 "bamboo poles" to school for the dance. just that they werent made of bamboo.
so anyway, i had to take a taxi to school because the school bus left without me):
then all of a sudden, one pole fell out of the boot.
the taxi driver got out of the taxi to go look for it but it was no where. So he asked me to help him look as well and it was found on the road fully flattened and twisted because apparently a lorry ran over it.
thus i went to school with only one pole and the other was left somewhere on the roads of bukit timah.
haha!
met geetika on the way up the slope and she helped me carry the pole.
thank you verma<3
school was just as usual except for GEL when the whole sec 2 cohort went down to the quadrangle to rehearse for family night.
our cd didnt work so we were the only class that could rehearse. after school i rushed home because i had hardly one hour to shower and eat my lunch before coming back to school to rehearse for scarf dance.
met amelia first and then the others came. we waited for charlotte to finish her syf dance practice before we rehearsed scarf dance.
we couldnt practice for long cause we had to go to quadrangle to dress up.
xiang brought tribal sashes and eva brought face paint so we helped each other draw stripes on our cheeks and tie the sashes. after that lim rui came and we went for dinner!
i didnt eat a lot because i was too happy and excited to feel hungry. then me, nicole mak and lim rui went to the bookshop to look for "someone" but that someone wasnt there DDD:
our class was in charge of ushering the parents so one group of us stationed ourselves near the audi. we were supposed to say
"good evening. welcome to family night. please proceed to the canteen for dinner".
i said it most of the times okay!(: actually me and nicole mak were the only ones saying at all. haha. i had loads of funny experiences ushering the parents.
especially one with this weirdo security guard. i shant write what happened over here but it was seriously funnyyy! after ushering we went back to the quadrangle and family night began! first there was this handshake thing where everyone had to go shake each others hands.
chloe gave me a kitty hug! yay thank you :D i love kitty hugs. and i got lots more hugs and hand shakes. thank you so much. they all mean a lot to me.
and a hug from alex as well. i felt so guilty when we hugged. sorry once again!
After then our class performed the dance we put so much effort into. we did a wonderful job and especially eva being the chief part stood out from all the other dances. i fell down during ending pose but well it was worth it :D
after our dance, we had this weird weird 'dum dum dee dee' song and then played more family oriented games. there was this dress up game where we had to dress up parents. i loved that one! haha.
the other classes also performed after that. some of them had really nice songs but i loved ours the best. oh oh did i mention that our class tribal name was 2malalala. isnt that cuteee?
and we had superly superly cute cheers as well.
ma.
malala
malalalalalalalalalala
oh no more malalalalala but there is a 2malalala
...
...
i forgot the lyrics after that x(
i loved 2g's dance SO much as well.
i want kaandi. haha. then the results part.
2m got second and 2g got first.
true, we didnt get first but im sure everyone one of us was really happy. we put in so much of effort and it didnt go a waste.
then we toook picturees! i have only one photo with me at the moment so..
2m'07i love you guys SO much and i am so thankful for being in 2m.
at the start of the year, we were all so clique-ish. people from 1m were always together, people from 1e were always together and same for people from 1o.
but i think we have all really become close in a period of just slightly more than 3months.
and last but not least,
thank you joy and joy's parents for giving me a lift home.
(see what i mean? i have known joy for such a short period of time but i still consider her one of my greatest friends)
