new skin. cynthia dearie, i havent thrown away you skin. i'll never do that. im only alternating skins ok?

back to my life,
my previous post got deleted by an unknown force of evil. and i cant be bothered to type it again so yeah, i'll blog about a self-portrait i
drew made early in the year.
there, thats how it looks like. haha. laugh all you like but anyway,
we were supposed to draw ourselves, paint in that weird mm..way. and then decorate it using texture.
so, i drew a circle. which i spent a lot of time doing. i think someone helped me as well to draw that circle(:
oh and then the body..became a little 'fat' towards the right side so i decided not to draw hands to that body and further spoil it.
then. i painted my face using all blue. and the background with only 2 colours. mind you, many people used the same 'method' to paint the background as well. that must have taken centuries but clever me, just used 2 colours. then, the texture part. people used like thread, beads, costume jewellery and all those weirdo stuff. I, however used tissue for the hair and used highlighter to paint the tissue. that took me like 15 min. and i was done. nadine helped me sign my name and mrs chan helped me stick the portrait onto that board. and....
i still got 13/20 and mrs chan said 'interesting idea'.
hah. and all those people who spent hours and hours and hours doing this thinggy got like a 15/20 or 16/20.
SO
learn from me
never EVER waste time on art
because, the lesser time you spend, the better your work.
AND
i got a B4 for my art at the end of the year, which is an excellent score, considering the time i spent
gosh, i love mrs chan so much. she's always pitying me and passing me for art. i was supposed to redo my peranakan drawing. but. in the end, she gave me 5/10 and passed me(:
similarly, for all my other art pieces. she things i have a problem and thinks i can only draw stick-man D:
oh well...let her think whatever she wants. i still love her so so much :D
